They also choose us because we get the job done, and we’re always on the lookout for exceptional paralegals and trainee solicitors who are keen to do the same.
If you’re ambitious and seeking on-the-job experience to kickstart your legal career, we want to hear from you.
Join us as a paralegal
Join us on a training contract
We’re keen to support law’s rising stars. And we’re not like other corporate firms. In larger city practices you can end up feeling like a cog in the machine, but with us you’ll have every opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our team and clients, and make a real difference to the work we do.
If you join us as a paralegal or on a training contract you’ll work alongside our lawyers to support a diverse range of clients, from ambitious start-ups to family-owned and large enterprises.
Applying to join us as a paralegal will set you on the right path for a knockout legal career.
You’ll need energy, enthusiasm and a desire to really make your mark as you’ll be involved in all aspects of legal work, supporting our solicitors to deliver exceptional outcomes. You’ll learn on the job – preparing reports, research and legal documents – with an experienced mentor on hand to guide you.
In return for your hard work we’ll support you to grow and build the foundations for an exciting future. Many of our paralegals complete our training contract and go on to become fully qualified solicitors with us.
You’ll have completed a qualifying law degree and may also have completed your Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) 1 & 2 – but this isn’t essential. You can also apply if you’re studying through CILEX.
Our two-year training contracts are your route to becoming a standout solicitor.
You’ll do everything a fully qualified solicitor does, working in seats across commercial, corporate, commercial property, employment and intellectual property law to hone your skills. You’ll be client-facing too, with a mentor on hand to support you all the way.
Being one of the South West’s leading corporate and commercial law firms our contracts are sought after, so your ambition, intellect and interest in business issues will need to shine through. In return we offer a supportive culture and the chance to learn from some of the region’s most talented solicitors.
You’ll have a qualifying law degree and have completed the LPC or SQE 1 and 2 before you begin (we can part-fund your LPCSQE too).
