Intellectual Property Rights After The Brexit Transition Period

The UK officially left the European Union on 31 January 2020. For now, European Union law is still applicable in the UK, but this is set to change on 31 December 2020 when the transition period ends. As much of our current intellectual property law is derived from European Union law, this will necessarily result in a number of changes to UK intellectual property protection.

In order to be able to provide our clients with the clarity and guidance they deserve, we have kept ourselves informed of these changes and can provide advice and assistance if required.

If you would like any advice or assistance in connection with how UK intellectual property is set to change after Brexit please contact us.
